Online q&a with Barış Kaya
Statt wie andere Kinder seines Alters in die Schule zu gehen, absolvierte Rauf bereits eine Schreinerlehre und leidet unter den Folgen eines Krieges. Doch Rauf ist niemand, der so schnell die Hoffnung verliert. Und so macht er sich auf, um eine ganz besondere Farbe zu finden, die für seine Liebe zu der erwachsenen Zana steht. Das allerdings ist gar nicht so einfach in dem abgelegenen Dorf im verschneiten Anatolien. Und als er schließlich auf die Farbe stößt, da ist Rauf längst kein Kind mehr.
Barış Kaya (*1976) ist stellvertretende Direktorin bei NEFES (2008) und hat Regie bei preisgekrönten Dokumentarfilmen geführt.
Soner Caner (*1983) hat zuvor als Art Director gearbeitet und erhielt die Golden Boll für seine Arbeit bei NEFES.
Instead of going to school like other children of his age, Rauf already completed an education as a carpenter and suffers from the consequences of a war. But Rauf is nobody who loses hope so quickly. And so he sets out to find a very special color that stands for his love for the adult Zana. But this is not so easy in this remote village in snowy Anatolia. And when he finally comes across the color, Rauf is no longer a child.

Soner Caner (*1983) has previously worked as an art director and received the Golden Boll for his work at NEFES.
